1. Who we are
Queudio is operated by Queudio, LLC. We provide a service that converts articles, PDFs, and web content into audio for personal listening. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@queudio.com.
2. What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Email address — used for authentication and transactional emails
- Article URLs and PDF content you submit — processed to generate audio
- Listening history and preferences — stored to personalize your experience
- Subscription and billing information — handled by Stripe; we do not store payment card details
- RSS feed URLs you add — used to fetch and convert content
- Usage data — article counts, plan usage, and feature activity
3. How we use your data
- To authenticate you and manage your account
- To process articles and generate audio files
- To send transactional emails (sign-in codes, weekly digest, expiry notices)
- To enforce plan limits and process subscription billing
- To improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate Queudio:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- OpenAI — article rewriting and text-to-speech generation
- Cloudflare R2 — audio file storage
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — application hosting and analytics (aggregate, anonymized)
- Jina Reader — article text extraction from URLs
Each provider has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
5. PDF content and data retention
PDF files you upload are processed to extract text and generate audio. The extracted text is deleted from our servers immediately after audio generation. Audio files are retained for 90 days of inactivity, after which they are permanently deleted. You will receive an email warning 7 days before deletion. You can exclude any PDF article from your private RSS feed at any time.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Article audio files are stored in Cloudflare R2 and are accessible via your queue. If you delete an article, the audio file is removed. If you close your account, all associated data is deleted within 30 days.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@queudio.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also delete your account directly from the settings page, which will initiate deletion of all associated data.
8. Children's privacy
Queudio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@queudio.com.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
